For citizens

  • You may only file requests about issues you have personally observed or experienced.
  • You retain ownership of the content of your complaints. By marking a complaint public you grant a non-exclusive license to display it in the transparency feed.
  • Knowingly false complaints may be removed and the account disabled.

For officials

  • You agree to handle requests routed to your agency in good faith and within reasonable timelines.
  • You agree to respond truthfully on the public record where the case is public.
  • Your response time is logged and surfaced in the public agency leaderboard.
